The party resupplies and starts to make their way to Sheynwick. They trudge through swamps for several hours, and come across many new species of flowers and plants they have never seen before. They pick several of the flowers that prove fairly difficult to harvest. If harvest incorrectly, it is as if the flower spits into the face of the harvester affecting their eyesight. One such flower spits into Ajax's face, and Ashe uses this to her advantage to push Ajax into the water, seeing that it helped some, she does it again.
As they continue this, something brushes Eressil's leg and pulls her under the foot deep water they were trudging through. The party is being ambushed by a group of Kuo-Toa, or Fish Fonzies.
As they fend off the attack and kill the Kuo-Toa, Eressil comes out of the water in her Crocodile form. At this moment, the ground starts to shake and split as if an Earthquake is occurring. Ashe and Zen fall down due to the violent shaking. Then a Giant Snake comes out of the water, and part of its tail swings trying to hit all of them. It manages to hit Rhone and Zen.
Ajax hexes the snake and then casts a scorching ray before falling prone to the ground. Zen and Ashe attack the creature, while Eressil casts Faerie fire, and Rhone casts guiding bolt. The snake swings its tail once more, hitting Eressil and Rhone, knocking them both prone. The snakes head comes up and then crashing down on Zen, attempting to pick her up and crush her. Rhone casts healing word on himself and gives Dovic Inspiration to Ashe. Ajax continues his assault with Scorching Ray and Eldritch Blast.
The snake managed to swallow Zen, and from inside she attacks, causing a critical hit and catching the creature on fire. At this moment Ashe successfully attacks. Eressil unleashes her beastly form, changing into a Brown bear. She attacks the snake with her bite and claws. Zen takes damage from inside the snake as if being ingested, while the snake tail slaps Ashe.
Bearessil is then swallowed whole by the creature. It looks like it is starting to unravel in order to get away from the party. Rhone casts a guiding bolt and provides a boost to Ajax's onslaught of 3 Scorching Rays. Ashe jumps up and attacks the snake, finally killing it. Zen and Eressil are still inside and taking acid damage. They finally manage to cut their way through.
They skin the snake as proof and a reward for their incredible trial. While skinning it, they find an Amulet and a Metal Wand. They discover the Wand is a Wand of Web with 7 charges. The Amulet contained a Bag of holding and is held by Zen.
